Chitosan is a natural substance extracted from chitin, a structural component of the hard exterior (exoskeleton) of crustaceans such as lobsters, crabs, and shrimp. It is often used in the livestock feed industry due to its beneficial properties.
About us
The foundations for ChitoFarm Products were laid more than 30 years ago by Wiebe Postma. He came into contact with the shrimp-peeling company Heiploeg. This company was working on valorizing the residual streams from its shrimp-peeling factory.
